Atoma is a group based for adults between the ages 30-49. Our mission, as part of the body of Christ, is to build our relationship with God for He is the nucleus of our lives. We are also driven to connect and build relationships with our same aged peers to bond together as one army for God’s kingdom. The word Atomos originates from the Greek language and means undividable. The English word atom is derived from this Greek origin.

Scientifically, we understand atoms to be the smallest part of elements that keep its properties. As the smallest part of elements, atoms can take part in chemical reactions once they bond with other atoms. Biblically, we know that our existence is in the hands of our Creator, God the Father. Our faith is strengthened by agreeing in numbers and from the testimonies of those like-minded people that we fellowship with.

Members of Atoma strive to be who God wants us to be through building our relationship with Him through Bible studies, book talks based on Biblical scripture, prayer, Christian fellowship, and events. We meet once a month to come together to build our spiritual walk, friendships, and to gain support by sharing matters of the heart and supporting needs through prayer. As the body of Christ, we need to be knit together with strong ties of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The fruits of the spirit have proved harder to practice than to memorize. These are the basics, and we are focusing on helping the community get back to them.

Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.”

Matthew 18:19 says, “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done from them by my Father in heaven.”
